Jon and Anna met while studying music at Goldsmiths College, and began writing together after discovering a mutual love of classic pop. They formed Jona Overground a short time after.

Anna has performed and toured as a session singer/bass guitarist with artists including Erasure, Kylie Minogue, and Lionel Richie. Jon has been involved in a variety of bands and music projects, both live and in the studio. They are signed to Eagle-i Music Publishers.

The band are part of the vibrant Telegraph Hill music scene in South East London, performing regularly in local venues, as well as at venues further afield, including The Betsy Trotwood, BURYfields Festival, and The Elgiva Hall in Jon’s home town of Chesham.

Tracks from the band’s debut album On The Outside (release July 2014) have featured on Phil Hogg’s show on SW1 Radio, and Dexter Bentley’s Hello/Goodbye Show on Resonance FM

“An album of fantastic, classic, melodic pop songs…each track comes fresh and inviting, and you’ll soon have your own particular favourites.”
